How it works

  1. Add song and lyrics

Choose your song and paste your lyrics, one line per row.

  2. Sync

We listen to the song and time each of your lines. Fix any line by editing its start and end.

  3. Style and export

Choose a look and motion, play it back, and export.

Who it is for

  • Release-day YouTube video

Many listeners look for the lyric video first.

  • Short vertical clips

One chorus at 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

  • Sing-along and worship

Karaoke motion fills each line as it is sung.

Words being right is not the same as timing being right

When we tested other lyric tools with a short eight-line song, some got every word correct but merged eight lines into six blocks, which made four lines appear up to two seconds early. A lyric video can spell everything right and still feel wrong.

So we never re-write or merge your lines. Recognition is only used to find when each of your lines is sung. If you already have correct lyrics, you should never have to fix a transcription again.

What it does not do well

  • Syncing depends on hearing the vocals. Lines buried under loud instruments may be guessed; these are highlighted so you can check them.
  • The karaoke sweep moves evenly across each line; it does not follow every syllable.
  • Long lines wrap to several rows. Up to four rows show per line, so split very long lines.
  • Rendering happens on your computer and works best in Chrome or Edge on a desktop.

Questions

Do I have to type the lyrics?

Pasting them gives the best result. If you have none, we can transcribe the song, but you should check the words.

Is my song uploaded?

Only if you use automatic sync, which needs to listen to it. Exporting itself happens in your browser. If you set the times by hand, nothing is uploaded.

Can I use this for monetized YouTube videos?

Yes, if you have the rights to the song. Use the export without the mark.

Can I use other languages?

Yes. Lines are shown exactly as written. Automatic sync works across many languages, though it is most accurate in English.
